Internet Based Virtual Server  Price List Effective January 2006

What follows is the pricing structure for access to Norse Systems, Inc. business application software for Bus Companies and/or Capital Equipment Maintenance, via the Internet. (Virtual Server Services)  The service provides a private database account for your use, with secure encrypted and unlimited access to a complete set of Norse application software and your business data.  The database and data will reside on secure fault tolerant host machines, available 24 hours a day 7 days a week, with 24 hr. disaster recovery, from a weekly backup, on the opposite continental coast, in the event of major catastrophe.  This application environment can be accessed from your local PC or PC network as if it were installed locally. It will function identically to a local system, subject only to limitations imposed by the speed of the Internet connection you employ.  Dial up connections can be used, but we recommend faster internet connections whenever practical. You must have access to the Internet through an ISP (Internet Service Provider), this is typically also the company that provides your connection to the Internet.  This technology is the key to the “Bus Wizard” product.   

Daily backup and system administration is included in the service fee. The service agreement is on a month-to-month basis, which means that you may adjust user count or cancel at any time.  The service will be billed to your credit card at the first of each month, or billed with prearranged credit terms, based on the number of user licenses you have requested.  Your data may be transferred to your own local system at any time. You may purchase perpetual software licenses for the application and for the database, and have these licenses installed on your Virtual Server.  Perpetual licensing can reduce your monthly cost to $15.00 per month per connection for the Virtual Server.

Initial installation support will be provided, as well as access to application documentation, at no charge.  Additional implementation support, consulting, training and application customization are available for an hourly fee, based on actual time expended. The rates and terms are established by executing a  “Professional Engagement Agreement” with Norse Systems. Our current rates are generally $150.00 per professional hour. (This is half of the rate which is typical for this type of service from other qualified sources of similar services.)

 There is a minimum requirement for two users on a Norse virtual server.

Monthly Charges  -        10 @ $65.00                                        =  $ 650.00 per month
or Perpetual License Purchase @ $15,500

This level of cost can be easily recovered with improvements in productivity of only 1% to 3% for an impacted employee.  Think what a 5% to 12% improvement in revenue, or a 6% to 20% reduction in equipment operating costs would leave in your bottom line. (A five percent revenue improvement will typically double your net income)

Large implementations serving thousands of users with hundreds of sites can be configured easily and small systems with just two users are economically attractive.
