New Clip Entry routine - A new clip entry routine is available in Screen Driver technology. The new program allows for seperate tracking of district defined or billable times and mileages as well as the actual times and mileages used in the Time and Pay processing. This allows for additional billing and audit flexibility, when the district imposes billing assumptions that do not match actual driving or when employees park their bus at home. AccuTerm 2K2 move to 5.3c - Attention all clients, we will be encouraging you all to upgrade your Accuterm to Version 5.3c if you are not already there. Contact us if you want to get started right away. We will be contacting everyone with instructions and the authorization codes you need over the next couple of months.
More form output options. Check out the most recent product releases. The forms have multiple copy options and many can be output to a window that allows direct emailing. All of the special forms have been enhanced with these options. The charter order confirmation or charter invoice will have a new "RTF" (rich text format) print option which will allow direct emailing. The quote letter will also have this option. More function, more options, more capability, more profit for you.
Print options expanded - We have added new "print-adapter" features to the system. We have provided an interface to a software product "Print Wizard" that can be installed on your workstation. It eliminates to need to have special PCL compatible printers. We can output the PCL formatted forms like the Laser Charter Order output to any graphics capable device. In addition we have provided a utility that allows you to mix database data with any form background that you choose to scan. You can even output fully formatted graphic forms to faxes. These features are enabled as part of the expanded user profile. Check for a seminar schedule addressing this topic.
Capital Recovery Projects. Perhaps you have a need that we have not yet addressed in our applications. This application may be a candidate for a "Capital Recovery Project". In a "Capital Recovery Project" one or more clients agree to fund a portion, usually about 65%, of the cost to develop an application, Norse absorbs the rest. Once the application is completed, new users who want to deploy this application are charged a one time capital recovery fee, which is paid to the contributing clients until their entire investment is recovered. The result is custom application development for a fraction of typical cost at worst, and for free when it works as planned. Expanded User Profile - The user profile features and options have been expanded to provide for more flexibility and security at the operator level. The new features include the following:user GUI scaling, slave print configuration, print adapter usage, user settable password, email return address, school bus routing district, session company, the ability to change login defaults. Just select the help button on login for a complete explanation of all the new features.
